Royal Mail is reopening its Livingston site to support the seasonal increase in letters and parcels across the region – and we’re looking for enthusiastic individuals to join us as Mail & Parcel Sorters through Angard Staffing.

This site is ordinarily used during peak periods, and we’ve had the opportunity to open earlier this year with everything fully set up and ready to welcome our workers. You might have worked at this site last year, or know someone who did – this year, we’re back earlier than ever, with even more opportunities available, so don’t delay and apply today.

About the Role

As a Mail & Parcel Sorter, you’ll help keep the country moving by:

  • Unloading and sorting mail and parcels by postcode
  • Moving items through the warehouse efficiently
  • Working as part of a fast-paced team to meet tight deadlines

 

Shift Options

We offer flexibility:

  • Choose from 1 to 6 shifts per week
  • Work any day — Monday to Sunday, 24/7 operation
  • Mix and match shifts week to week (e.g. mornings one week, nights the next)
  • Ideal for students — work around your studies in October/November, and pick up more hours closer to Christmas

Looking Ahead

The Livingston site will be operational from now until the end of the year, potentially into early January. If you enjoy the work, we can discuss transferring you to our ongoing operations in Edinburgh or Glasgow Mail Centres, or explore other opportunities in the new year.
