Angard Staffing is recruiting motivated individuals to join our team as Temporary Bay Marshals with Royal Mail.

This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in helping Royal Mail move millions of parcels efficiently and safely across the country.

What You'll Be Doing

As a Bay Marshal, you will play an important role in the loading and unloading of trailers, ensuring the safe and efficient movement of parcels and equipment throughout the operation.

Key Responsibilities

• Load and unload trailers safely and efficiently.
• Move Yorks, cages, pallets, and other operational equipment around the site.
• Ensure trailers are loaded in accordance with operational and safety requirements.
• Assist with the movement of parcels between operational areas.
• Conduct trailer checks before loading and unloading activities commence.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area.
• Work closely with operational teams to achieve productivity targets.
• Follow all health and safety procedures at all times.

• Is comfortable with physically demanding work.
• Can lift and move parcels, equipment, and containers safely.
• Has a strong focus on health and safety.
• Is reliable, punctual, and flexible.
• Works well as part of a team.
• Has good attention to detail.
• Previous experience in logistics, warehouse operations, parcel processing, or trailer loading is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.

Pay & Shifts

The table below outlines the typical pay rates for Forklift Driver roles within our Parcel Hub.

Rates may vary slightly during peak periods, and Angard Staffing will communicate any changes in advance.

Important Information

This role is for a Christmas period. Assignments are temporary and will automatically end once the site closes for the Christmas season.
