Parcelforce Warehouse Operative

• Job Type: Temporary
• Location: Tamerton Road, Roborough, Plymouth, PL6 7BQ,

Starting Pay rate:

• Mon – Sat Days (06:00 – 20:00): £13.17 per hour
• Mon – Sat Nights (20:00 – 06:00): £15.91 per hour

       After 6 months:

• Mon – Sat Days (06:00 – 20:00): £14.36 per hour
• Mon – Sat Nights (20:00 – 06:00): £17.10 per hour

Day-to-day of the role:

• Load and unload parcels
• Move parcels through the warehouse safely and efficiently.
• Sorting parcels to correct delivery route / preparing trailer ready for the drivers / onward transport
• Securely handle all items in the warehouse, including handling certain items (such as food products or alcohol) in line with Royal Mail standards.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• No previous experience required; however, experience in similar environments is a bonus.
• Flexibility and comfort in switching between tasks.
• Ability to lift and carry parcels up to 30kg and push loads up to 250kg (with assistance for heavier items).
• Physical fitness and ability to manage long shifts on your feet.
• Motivation, reliability, and readiness to work as part of a team.
