Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for people with a flair for customer service and a passion for delivering service excellence. You will need to be confident on the telephone and able to communicate with customers politely and effectively. Desirable qualities would include:

Proven record within a fast-paced customer service environment

Enthusiastic and responsive – seeking a positive resolution for all customers.
Self-motivated.
Able to work as part of a team or alone.
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Good planning and flexibility.
Computer literate and good keyboard skills.

What will you be doing?

The role of a Customer Service Advisor is to provide an excellent customer service experience for Royal Mail customers managing customer questions, queries, and complaints in a timely manner. Daily duties will include:

General enquiries (advice and support)
Tracking/Complaints.
Data inputting – quickly and accurately.
Handling all customer interactions with care – always delivering a ‘first class’ customer experience.
Effectively dealing with telephone, email, white-mail, complaints and general customers enquiries.

What do you need to know?

Intake start Dates: TBC
Pay rate:  £12.97 per hour (£14.00 per hour should overtime be required on a Sunday)
Temporary Contract: between 8-12 weeks. Around 37.5 hours per week, between the hours of 08:00am – 18:30pm Monday to Friday, 08:00am – 15:00pm Saturday, 09:00am – 14:00pm Sunday (Although Sundays shifts are very rare you must still be flexible)
There will be a mixture of various length of shifts throughout the week, but you may be required to work every Saturday depending on location.
Shifts will be allocated 4 weeks in advance.
Full training will be provided; for the training period – the first 2 weeks will be Monday – Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm annual leave is not permitted during the first three weeks of training – minimal annual leave after this may be requested after this and is subject to availability.
Free on-site parking.
There is no canteen on-site however it is close to amenities.
